This lounge furniture by German born designer Sebastian Gronemeyer is called the Orchid lounge chair. Inspired by the leaves of an orchid, this smooth furniture’s organic form and natural contours flexes slightly as you lean back.
The un-upholstered Orchid lounge chair is constructed of a one piece molded reinforced fiberglass shell mounted on a chrome tubular steel base. The lower part of the chair can also be used to store newspapers and magazines.
The W chair, also designed by Gronemeyer, resembles a cascading piece of furniture. Its round curves lead you down to its lower part base, while its flexible backrest smooths your body as you lean back. This lounge furniture comes in a wide variety of colors, constructed from either molded reinforced fiberglass, a folded single sheet of aluminum or laminated wood.
