Located north of Farmington, New Mexico, the Kokopelli’s Cave Bed & Breakfast is truly an underground escape. Built by a consulting geologist, Bruce Black, this B&B started out as an office, only to be used as the Black family getaway and finally turned into a 1,650-square-foot luxurious bed & breakfast.
The cave is built into a 65-million-year-old sandstone formation nearly 70 feet, or seven stories, underground; with one bedroom, two balconies, a carpeted living area, a Jacuzzi tub and waterfall shower, the cave offers amazing views of the surrounding mountains.
