Located in Yelapa, Mexico, these beautiful ‘outlook’ structures are self-contained, prefabricated rental units, which are delivered by boat and carried up the hill. They are spaced apart for privacy, and connected by walkways, stairs and railings, where each room has a spectacular view of the surrounding – an exceptional experience living above the jungle.
Based on metal poles with basically no environmental impact or foot print, V Houses can be built on flat ground, water or sand, steep hills or wooded areas with lots of vegetation.
With walls tilted outwards, each structure (16’x16’) feels bigger than it actually is. Each unit includes its own kitchen, bathroom and three ‘outlook’ rooms with amazing views. The houses feature solar panels on top, compost toilets and all grey water is treated and reused in the gardens.
Rates: $250 per night, up to 6 guests.
