The Livingstones rock cushions had me in for a big surprise. They look so real that you expect them to be hard and cold but as soon as you sit on them you discover how warm and comfortable they are.
I have no complaints about living in the city surrounded by a busy urban landscape, and even though the sea is about 20 minutes walk away from my house I rarely get to see it during the week. On weekends though, we like to venture out of the city and “recharge” ourselves with a dose of nature.
There is something very impressive about hiking along river beds and canyons where you see the effects time and weather. These areas are always strewn with boulders and pebbles in beautiful shades of gray, cream and white, some with spider striping, some plain, asymmetric and in different sizes but all worn smooth to the touch. These weather-worn rocks are exactly what inspired French designer Stephanie Marin when she designed the “Livingstones”.
These pebble and boulder shaped cushions come in different shapes and sizes – from as small as a throw pillow to as big as a couch. True to nature, strewn around your living room or stacked together around your pool or garden, their form and colors give the impression of having your own private beach or river bed.
In the spirit of embracing nature, the Livingsones are produced using environmentally friendly methods and are toxic free. They come in a choice of fabrics: 100% wool tinted without chemical dye, hypoallergenic Polar Fleece or Neoprene (for outdoor models) and the covers can even be machine washed.
So now when bad weather or previous engagements prevent us from venturing out, we can still enjoy nature in our own private, imaginary landscape.
I am trying to find the price of the pillows or at the very least a website with a price and info. Please direct me to the best place.
Julie

I was a bit worried when I first saw the pictures! These are great looking, really!
They add a bit of a calming decoration to any room too!
