I really like what they’ve done with this place! A small studio apartment renovation in New York City, that serves as a home for an art dealer. The result is a simple, elegant living space, within a compact floor plan of 1000 sq. ft., that provides a calm, monochromatic backdrop for showcasing art pieces.
Throughout the compact space, living areas are well defined yet very flexible. A folding wall bed is concealed within a wall niche, completed with spot lighting and hidden storage shelves.
Apart from the large sofa and ottoman, the rest of the furniture are light and airy, carefully positioned not to interfere with the flow of the space.
The kitchen area has been done beautifully for such a small space. It’s modern and extremely functional, featuring Corian surfaces and lots of storage spaces. There’s also a tiny side window that reflects light on glass door cabinets.
