With mountains forming the perfect backdrop, this modern camp home is nestled in a forest, overlooking the shores of Flathead Lake in Bigfork, Montana. Situated on the flanks of a long hill, the camp is slowly discovered through a pebble and earth path leading down the hill to the master house, lodge, and guest house.
With various materials as stone, wood, glass and grass, the house connects beautifully with nature, using firewood for the walls and grass for the roof.
The kitchen has a rustic modern feel to it, combining stainless steel surfaces with a gorgeous stone wall.
Can you guess what’s the difference between these two photos? At first I wasn’t sure what I was seeing, only to realize that the large window has somehow changed its place… It seems to me that a simple mechanism lowers down the window, opening and closing the terrace space – perfect for summer and winter time entertaining.
