I am a fan of little things in life; kittens, babies, donut holes, iPhone 5, etc. Usually my motto is ‘the smaller the better’. As our technology advances, we see the same idea in our smart machines and devices as the competition between manufacturers continues to heat up for who has the fastest, lightest, and smallest product on the market. With that said, I have to draw the line when it comes to a car that weighs less than yours truly.
The Peel P50 is the world’s smallest car. Weighing in at a whopping 130 lbs, this three wheeled European micro car makes the Smartcar look like a Mack truck. The P50 by Peel Engineering UK originally made its debut in 1962 but has since then been resurrected with only a limited 50 collector’s units available for sale to the public.
Despite its miniature disposition, this tiny toy car sure can get around. The P50 is so compact it can even fit in an elevator. Practical? No. But fun? Yes! I say if the car fits, drive it.
