The Globe Light is a versatile pairing of a spherical pendant light plus a concave reflecting plate. The design bounces light off the disc instead of shining directly into a room, giving off a flattering warm and even glow. The lights themselves can also be used alone or clustered, or bounced off another surface to the same effect.
Sure, the concept of bounce-back lighting is smart (in look and concept), but the hardware itself is lovely too in this case. The white ceramic globes that recall eggshells in particular are clean, subtle and would work in a myriad of places.
Gloss painted metal and matt ceramic are bang on trend, and also adaptable enough to suit any interior really. What’s more they go together like strawberries and cream.
You could choose to install the Globe Lights as a subtle functional light, or much more fun, use them as a feature. They would be effective as a loose cluster, or hung in regular intervals over a table or down stairs. Bounced off a colored reflective surface, they could also bring interest to a space needing an atmosphere. Whatever you choose, it will certainly cut a (Scandi-style) dash.
One good kind of Globalization.
