The This, That and Other series is a dining chair, lounge chair and stool respectively are a family of seats that have just the right balance of delicacy and strength to their look, and are highly material efficient keeping costs down.
The combination of flat, fine surfaces and curved shapes makes the seats stand out from the crowd, but not in an offensive way. Legs that spring from a angle at the back seem to prop up a seat made of a pack of cards (funnily enough it was inspired by a card trick). The curved backrest also keeps you supported whilst you look hot at the bar.
The series are made of oak wood veneer plywood, and are provided in a tasteful pallet of neutrals. They are also available with padded seats in a range of fabrics and leathers, and in custom wood colors too for the picky.
The seats are light and moveable, thus suited to the wholesale and contract market, however we could also see a couple filling at a kitchen island unit, or even on sunny terraces (and pretty much everything in between). Their idiosyncratic look also means you could use them to tie together multiple rooms in a building.
