The Powerpod by Coalesse is essentially a multi-plug adapter with a bit of a boost in the looks department. A six plug socket is hidden under a round pot with only an on/off switch to give it away.
The design is subtle and light, with a matte white and brushed silver finish. The rounded edges are subtle, but also mean that 6 power outlets fit into a minimal space. The main cable comes out from the bottom of the Powerpod, so it can fit into table cable inlets comfortably.
The perfect use would be a meeting room table, when god knows who needs to run their laptop, iPad or smartphone at a conference. Nonetheless the Powerpod could also work in a home for lots of little interchangeable devices – particularly in a dressing room for the hairdryers, lamps and fans that inevitably invade. Likewise the kitchen counter could also benefit from a good looking ‘juice station’ for the toasters, blenders, etc etc that we suffer from.
