I admit to having a love relationship with well designed every day objects, such as a jug for example, which feature transparency. Especially in the case of kitchen objects which are meant to functionally carry liquids. Can you imagine this Stelton’s Simply Carafe, magically, while in fact just simply, changing colors according to the refreshment it’s ready to serve in beautiful glasses of thirsty people like you and me?
This 1 litter glass carafe is designed by Klaus Rath to be 25 cm high and slim enough to fit comfortably the door of every refrigerator. In its elegant figure, ice cubes and lemon slices can easily be contained, as the lid can be fully removed while filling.
Designed in autumn 2009 it looks as fresh and new as designed yesterday, yet its most attractive feature is its absolutely chic and classic design. I can imagine of no dining table setting or occasion where Stelton’s simply Carafe wouldn’t bring the best of everything! And I need to look no further for the perfect pair of jugs to prettily decorate my kitchen shelves till the moment they are put into use. I think sparkling water will look just fabulous in it!
