A good posture seems to be directly related to our health, well being and how we feel. I guess I’m not a minority here often feeling cramped from too many hours of computer work sitting in front of a screen. Almost daily and even sometimes more than once per day yoga exercises are remarkably beneficial and enjoyable. Any additional help is more than welcome, which is exactly what I thought when seeing Peter Opsvik’s Gravity Balance Recliner.
Designed to make the most perfect and rejuvenating naps we’ve ever taken come true, the Gravity Balance offers a sufficient back and neck support – which is adjustable – relieving the spine while head and feet are placed higher than the heart, allowing for deep relaxation. Additionally it yields to the rhythm of our breathing, now how cool is that?
The Gravity balance recliner though is not only designed to contribute to our power naps, but also to active sitting since it can be adjusted in 4 positions altogether, allowing for such occasions as tea drinking and conversation with friends or watching a film all curled up.
The recliner is available with a frame in onyx black or a natural colored beech, which happens to be my personal favorite. It measures 53″ in length, 29 ” in width and 48″ in height while it weights 60 lbs. Finally, it’s covered in a fabric made from 95% wool and 5% polyamide.
