With Christmas being just a breath away, booking some holidays seems always like a good idea. Have you already made some arrangements and plans? In case your destination happens to be Australia, Orchard keepers situated in Victoria’s Red Hill, just an hour from Melbourne is the ultimate country chic getaway.
Set within established gardens and overlooking surrounding vineyards and orchards, Orchard Keepers is a 4 bedroom guesthouse and separate workers cottage sitting beneath a giant Sequoia tree, ready to welcome you and your family and / or friends for what will be an experience to cherish and probably want to put a miniature of it in your… pocket in order to take back home and taste just a little bit more. Isn’t this place but a dream?
The current owner Pos Sampieri dedicated herself to restoring what was once three separate cottages dating back to as early as the 1890’s.
She worked closely with Sue Carol from Montreaux & Trove creating what she likes to name a country chic retreat, or else a very sophisticated and elegant space where antiques, white washed walls, concrete surfaces, layers of linen, collection of ceramics, beautiful pendant lights and the most charming of details lovingly and tastefully chosen for each room, harmoniously meet under the same roof.
A mostly beautiful one undoubtedly. What I like the most is that the space is inviting without being croweded, an essential part of vacation and recharging one’s batteries. In my opinion, no matter how amazingly decorated a place, there should always be some room for emptiness, room for people to be and feel free to unfold their personalities, cause there is exactly where little miracles can occur, even if but tiny ones like reconnecting with loved ones.
If Santa Clause is reading wish lists, then he may as well know, that visiting this place is rather high on my list. Is it on your list too, perhaps ?
