As the story goes, ten years ago Isabella was searching for a place in the country and came upon this property. It was not in good shape, but she lovingly restored it to this place of quiet harmony.
The kitchen is incredible; the greenhouse windows create a feeling that the guests are outside in the garden. The dining area, which is anchored by an extra long farmhouse table, allows for communal dining after the preparation of simple yet divinely delicious meals. White dishware is stacked on a modern buffet table, and a simple white storage locker stores glassware.
Guest rooms are rustic in feel, but designed with a modern functionality. A pared down palette of wood, steel, waxed concrete and natural textiles are abundant. Guest baths include a galvanized steel soaking tub, rough-hewn wood covered walls and windows that peek out into the lush countryside.
Bistro tables are simply set on the deck, allowing for nature to take center stage.
