In the multi-unit housing world, creativity and originality are not the first thoughts that comes to mind. This unusual 7 unit building stands apart from its competition through the use of simple yet thoughtfully chosen materials and unique floor plans.
The exterior is clad with crisp white veneer panels that allow us to view this structure for both its interesting geometric shapes and also to highlight the low maintenance plantings that dot the grounds.
Glass walls, giving us a peek at what is inside, bind terraces.
Walk around to the rear of the building and we find a quiet body of water that resembles a modern version of a meandering stream. Vertical wood planks create a contrast against the horizontal white wall panels. Enjoy a quiet glass of wine with your friends here.
Wood, marble and high gloss veneer materials are used throughout the interiors of these cleverly designed units, each with a unique layout and feel.
Look at the chandelier that hovers above the marble island in the kitchen. It is both substantial and ethereal at the same time, and is reflected in the high gloss backsplash opposite. The island is a perfect study in geometry, its planes create an original art piece that is both contemporary in style yet classic in material.
The bedrooms are quiet and full of natural light. Each bathroom is unique yet shares a common thread of serene and quiet whites. Fixtures are floating, giving the perception of additional open space.
Workspaces are cleverly tucked away in a corner and skylights above make this a cheery place to get your tasks completed.
