The creative team of graphic designer Anna Farkas and interior designer Miklos Batisz has joined forces to produce the Starry Light lamp collection by Anagraphic.
Anna’s thought process was two-fold. Her idea was to create a functional and beautiful pendant light that reflected the starry sky she sees outside her home in Budapest, Hungary. This lightweight, powder coated aluminum lampshade projects a soft, indirect light downward for intimate dinners, and a strong, direct light that shines upward and outward onto the adjacent walls and ceiling above for a celestial view of beauty.
The designs are based on four constellations, the Vernal Equinox, Summer Solstice, Autumnal Equinox and the Winter Solstice. The pendants are hand-drawn and drilled by local craftsmen scattered across Budapest.
Because each lamp is created by hand, there are no two that are alike, which creates a wonderful conversation piece for you to share with your guests.
Illumination is provided by a LED light source that was specifically developed for this collection. The collection is available in four colors; matte and glossy white, matte black and pearl violet. In addition to the four main designs, custom constellations are also available upon request.
Anna and Miklos have created a truly unique and lovely collection of suspension lighting that would be a distinctive and lovely addition to your home.
