If you love cooking gourmet food, you are going to love the La Plancha. The La Plancha is a cooking appliance designed for outdoor use that has a smooth enameled cast-iron surface. This unique surface enables a style of food preparation called “cooking by contact” which is very popular amongst leading French chefs. Using this method, the food is cooked rapidly, healthily and has a delicious taste.

Additionally, since the enamel does not retain odors you can quickly cook one dish after another.
The La Plancha also looks great- the combination of black enamel and stainless steel gives it a very chic look and it is compact enough to easily fit on a small outdoor table. There are several different models available and you can choose a model with either 1,2 or 3 burners. They all have a thick (7 mm) cast-iron sheet that is molded with a high anti-spatter rim and a Marine-grade, corrosion resistant, stainless steel frame.
