The evolution of LED products continues to excite with designs that go above and beyond merely replacing the incandescent lamps of old fixtures with LEDs. Saleem Khattak’s designs for Archilume are fresh, original, and born from the infinite possibilities of light emitting diodes.
Clear acrylic cylinders with an elegantly tapered end enclose the LED. This lens allows for complete and even distribution of the light through its glare free surface. So delicate that they appear like an upturned receptacle of a flower, the lenses are cradled by a machined aluminum housing. A braided cable suspends them from a thin aluminum ceiling plate. There is an option for a concentric lens that mimics rain drops falling on water. All are dimmable down to as low as one percent for the ultimate in total lighting control and ambiance.
Three chandelier models are available, two of which have eight luminaries in either a linear pattern or an asymmetrical arrangement. A 28 light chandelier makes a modern and understatedly powerful impression. The creative opportunities are endless as this luminaire is customizable as it is installed.
Even pendants and wall sconces are available. From singular pendants to four lens fixtures, they will illuminate every type of space. Wall sconces in single, double, or four lens configurations cast light up, down, or both.
