The Stealth-X Sled was designed for those who love winter sports. Engineered to perfection, the Stealth, from Snolo Sleds, allows riders to rediscover the slopes whether steadily going down the mountain while taking in the view, or getting your adrenaline pumping riding down in rapid speed. The concept behind the design was to create a sled that provided a snowboard type feel but from a seated position. The result is an advanced sled design that you can lean into and cut corners like a pro.
The Stealth-X Sled is the brainchild of Sean Sean Boyd, a New-Zealander who created the first prototype for this own use. After he saw what great capabilities the sled had, he decided to fine tune its design and manufacture it commercially.
The Stealth-X has a carbon fiber monocoque construction which provides it with superior strength. It also has replaceable aluminum runners for knife edge performance. Other features include narrow runners, wide front ski and deep-dish body shell that enable seamless transition between powder and hard pack snow.
Additionally, the sled has adjustable foot pegs to suit different heights and an adjustable front ski so you can choose the handling characteristics. The dimensions of the Stealth-X are length 858mm x width 494mm x height 250mm and it weighs 8.8kg (18.7 lbs).
