I am always inspired by artists who take “defined” objects and place them in a new and refreshing context. Polish based artist Pani Jurek, did just this when she created the Maria S.C. Chandelier from laboratory test tubes. The result is a colorful and playful design with a strong reference to the classical European chandelier. What is even more wonderful is that the Maria S.C. Chandelier invites its owners to participate in the creation. The tubes can be detached, and you can add liquids of various colors to change the appearance of the chandelier.
