The city of Zaragoza, Spain was elected the host city of the Expo Zaragoza 2008. The theme of the 2008 international exposition is water and sustainable development. One of the expo main entrances will be the Bridge Pavilion, an amazing structure designed by Zaha Hadid, a respected architect with a radical new approach to architecture and the first woman to win the Pritzker Prize for Architecture.

Considered one of America’s most important architects, Steven Holl is recognized for his ability to blend space and light with great contextual sensitivity and to utilize the unique qualities of each project to create a concept-driven design. In 1976 Steven founded Steven Holl Architects in New York. The firm’s online portfolio is very impressive, from residential houses to commercial and institutions.
